Our Story
Established in 2017 as SmartSouls Tuition, our mission has always been to provide high-quality, affordable education that empowers students and uplifts communities. Over the years, we have taught over 2,000 students and collaborated with more than 500 dedicated teachers and tutors across London. Our commitment to academic excellence has helped guide students toward university degrees and career success, making a lasting impact on families and communities.
Our journey began with four branches in Kilburn, Redbridge, Whitechapel, and Wapping. However, post-COVID-19, we consolidated our operations into our flagship Whitechapel E1 center, enhancing the quality and focus of our teaching. Specializing in Maths, English, and Science for students aged 5-18 (Key Stages 1-5), we ensure expert-led learning through PGCE-qualified subject specialists dedicated to student success.
As education evolves, so do we. With the launch of BULOTS, we are taking our expertise beyond the classroom, offering high-quality online tuition to students across the UK and beyond. Our university-immersive experience, personalized academic support, and innovative learning strategies ensure students are well-prepared for exams and future academic challenges.
Beyond academics, we are expanding our support services, including mentoring and counseling, to foster well-rounded development. Founding members
Abdur Razzak
SmartSouls Tuition was founded by Abdur Razzaq, a deeply passionate servant of the community who has dedicated his professional and personal life to empowering young people through education. A graduate of the prestigious Queen Mary University of London in English Language & Linguistics, Abdur Razzaq has a long history of private entrepreneurship, combining his business expertise with his passion for education to build a robust private tuition school that is now entering its eighth successful year.
His motivation to work in this field came from firsthand experience observing young people struggling in challenging inner-city economic migrant family conditions, which often hindered their educational progress. Witnessing these difficulties, he made it his mission to provide a safe, supportive space where students could escape their tough environments and access premium-quality education that would give them a real chance at success.
As we continue to grow, Abdur Razzaq is now expanding his focus on child development and well-being, ensuring that Britannia PreUniversity London Online Tuition School not only helps students succeed academically but also supports them holistically.
Suzana Arefin
Suzana Arefin is the Co-Founder and COO of Britannia PreUniversity London Online Tuition School. A first-class graduate in Biomedical Sciences from King’s College London, Suzana went on to complete an MSc in Computing at the University of Roehampton, earning a prestigious merit-based scholarship and ranking as the top-performing student in their cohort. Beyond excelling academically, they have been actively involved in various voluntary initiatives, mentoring students and working on projects aimed at bridging educational gaps for underprivileged youth.
A software engineer by profession, Suzana is deeply passionate about education, career consulting, and helping young people unlock their full potential. With over 10 years of tutoring experience, they have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of early career planning and timely guidance. Their mission extends beyond academic excellence—striving to create a holistic learning environment that nurtures confidence, curiosity, and lifelong success.
Tanvir Ali
Tanvir Ali is a co-founder, an accomplished educator, and a qualified pharmacist dedicated to empowering students to achieve their full academic potential. A graduate of King’s College London (2019), he further specialised with a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy at Cardiff University (2023). In 2024, he began Graduate Entry Medicine at Swansea University, reinforcing his commitment to both education and healthcare through training at some of the UK’s most prestigious institutions.
With over a decade of tutoring experience, Tanvir’s journey began in 2013 with the Ethnic Youth Support Team Wales, providing academic support to disadvantaged students. Alongside this, he has over five years of ongoing experience in the NHS, further strengthening his ability to mentor aspiring healthcare professionals.
Tanvir’s passion lies in uplifting his community and bridging the educational gaps he once faced himself. His extensive experience, academic achievements, and commitment to student success make him a trusted and inspiring figure in online education.
